How much does it cost to build a website?

What will your website cost?

Budget €1,000 to €1,500 for an Aruno landing page, or €2,000 to €4,000 for a company website. See what changes the scope before comparing website quotes.

Read summarized version with

You need a website that explains your offer and gives the right people a reason to contact you. Before choosing a budget, decide what those people need to see and what you want them to do.

A single page for one service can be enough. A company with several services, case studies and different audiences usually needs more room. Those are different projects, even if both quotes say “website”.

The Aruno budgets below exclude VAT and are indicative. Your written quote sets the scope, price and payment terms; this article isn't tax or legal advice.

How much should you budget for an Aruno website?

Start with the type of work you need to buy.

At Aruno, a custom landing page with design and development is typically €1,000 to €1,500. A company website with roughly 5 to 10 pages is typically €2,000 to €4,000. These are planning ranges because the content, layouts and functionality still need to be agreed.

Here is how those budgets relate to different requests.

Your projectIndicative Aruno budget, excluding VATStarting scope
Landing page€1,000 to €1,500Custom design and development for one focused page
Company website€2,000 to €4,000Custom design and development for roughly 5 to 10 pages
Design only€1,000 to €2,000Desktop and mobile Figma layouts for roughly 5 to 10 pages

Choose the row by the deliverable you need. Design files alone won't give you a working site.

See our work and services on the Aruno website. The range starts a conversation; it doesn't include every possible feature.

What does your website need to do?

The page list should follow the questions your visitors ask before they contact you.

For example, a focused landing page for a specialist service might explain the problem, describe your offer, show relevant proof and end with an enquiry form. That's an illustrative scope, not a promise that every landing page includes the same sections.

A company website might need a homepage, an about page, three service pages, a case studies page and a contact page. Each service page should help someone decide if you're a fit. Five pages with copied paragraphs won't do that job better than one clear page.

At Aruno, you approve the design before development begins. This lets you discuss the structure, content and mobile layouts while changes are easier to make. The design stage includes two revision rounds; requests beyond the agreed rounds or scope are quoted separately.

Agree who supplies content. Copy can be included; photography and a new brand identity need their own scope.

Specify what you want to edit yourself. An agreed content editor can cover those fields; layout and functionality changes may still need a developer.

What moves the price up?

The amount of distinct work matters more than the page count on its own.

Ten pages sharing a layout can take less work than five with distinct structures. Languages and migrations add work too.

These requests need to be named before the price is fixed.

RequestWhy it changes the workWhat to specify
Several unique layoutsEach needs design and developmentWhich pages can share a structure
Booking or external softwareThe visitor journey must connect to another serviceTool, account access and expected behaviour
Content migrationExisting pages and links need handlingWhat stays, moves or gets removed
Multiple languagesMore content, navigation and testingLanguages and who supplies translations

Send this information with your page list. It makes the quote more useful than a rough price based on page count.

Discuss image handling, page titles and mobile usability as part of the build. A new site doesn't guarantee first place on Google. Our guide to why a website doesn't show up on Google explains what to check before assuming a redesign is the answer.

Why can another quote look so different?

Compare the purchase behind the number before comparing the numbers themselves.

A ready-made layout and client-supplied content can justify a low quote. Know those limits before paying. “Custom website” should say what is custom.

Larger teams can sell a different arrangement. DesignMe's design subscription lists its Starter plan at about $7,000 per month. Kargul advertises a $2,500 trial week before a possible full project. Checked on 9 October 2026, these are a monthly team arrangement and a trial, respectively; neither is a published price for your finished website.

At Aruno, your project has an agreed scope and price. You work directly with Mihai on design and development, with collaborators when a larger project needs them.

If you want a website budget tied to your actual page list, we're happy to discuss it. Bring your offer, examples and launch target so we can talk about the right project scope. Book a free intro call with no commitment, or contact hi@aruno.studio, WhatsApp or Telegram @mihaipostelnicu.

What should you agree before work starts?

A useful quote describes how you get from an approved design to a working launch.

Ask which pages and layouts are included, what you can edit, who provides content and how changes are priced. Confirm the domain, hosting account, any paid software and the handover. You should know which bills belong to you and who can access the site.

Aruno payments are normally 50% upfront and 50% on completion, by bank transfer. Ownership and third-party licences are defined in the contract.

A landing page usually takes 1 to 2 weeks; a 5 to 10-page site roughly 3 to 6 weeks. Content and feedback affect the schedule.

Before launch, try the main journey on your phone: read a service page, follow the contact link and submit an enquiry. A form that doesn't send emails can waste the work that brought someone to the site.

Our builds include 30 days of bug fixes after launch. Marketing websites don't have an ongoing maintenance plan; later changes are separately scoped.

Frequently asked questions

These answers help you turn a rough website budget into a specific brief.

How much does a small business website cost at Aruno? Budget €2,000 to €4,000 excluding VAT for a company website with roughly 5 to 10 pages. A focused landing page is typically €1,000 to €1,500 excluding VAT.

How long does it take to build a website? An Aruno landing page usually takes 1 to 2 weeks; a 5 to 10-page company site usually takes 3 to 6 weeks. The agreed timeline depends on scope, content and feedback.

Is a custom website worth it? It can be when your offer needs a particular structure, design or visitor journey. Define what the site must help people do before deciding; custom design alone doesn't guarantee leads.

Are hosting and domain fees included? They must be specified in your quote. Don't assume a build price covers every recurring service, renewal or later change.

Can you start with one page and add more later? Yes, if one page covers the first goal. Tell us what you expect to add before building.

Write down your main offer, the pages it needs and the action you want visitors to take. That's a useful starting point for your website budget.
